Position Summary This
Staff Accountant
position plays a vital role in maintaining
accurate financial records , supporting
month‑end close
processes, and working collaboratively across departments to ensure the financial integrity of our assets.

Financial management and reporting.

Understanding of GAAP fundamentals.
Essential Job Functions
Maintains general ledger activity for assigned entities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
Reconciles bank statements and investigates discrepancies.
Assists with budgeting and forecasting.
Assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as assigned.
Assists with external audits, tax preparation, and other regulatory filings as needed.
Continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Specific Education or Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or degree in business with relatable experience).
CPA certification not required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Frequently sit, stand and walk.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
