LHH is excited to partner with a dynamic organization seeking a Staff Accountant, a role that has opened up due to an internal promotion.
This position offers a clear path for advancement, with the potential to move quickly into a Senior Accountant role. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, core accounting and financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as part of the month-end close process
Assist with the preparation of subsidiary financial statements
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities
Analyze financial data and generate reports on key metrics such as assets, liabilities, and profitability
>Develop revenue and expense forecasts based on current trends and commitments Support audit processes, including year-end, bank, and regulatory audits
Maintain accurate fixed asset records
Provide backup for various accounting functions, such as cost reporting, sales tax filings, inventory management, and ERP system maintenance
Take on additional tasks as needed to support the accounting team and overall business operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred)
3+ years of accounting experience
Hands‑on experience with the full month‑end close cycle
Strong proficiency in Excel
