Production Coordinator
Required Shift:
12 Hour Rotating Shift: 7:00am – 7:00pm, 2-2-3 Rotating Shifts
Job Purpose Leads and integrates the efforts of one or more teams across all shifts responsible for the quality, safety, reliability, and quantity of the line(s) which make up the value stream. The Production Coordinator ensures sound people management, problem solving, and project management skills. They deliver finished goods or sub‑assemblies autonomously within established procedures and practices, leveraging advanced experience gained through training and significant work experience.
What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing (10–50 lbs) and pulling (50–300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and work in confined spaces
Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours per shift)
Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work‑related English
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Technical degree
5+ years of experience in manufacturing with progressive levels of responsibility
Certified Trainer (Daily Management System (DMS), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Problem solving, etc.)
Experience using Weever
JDA knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Support the Production Leader in creating daily and weekly production plans and execute them, focusing on associate capability and flawless execution.
Act as the Production Leader in their absence, performing duties that demonstrate required leadership behaviors.
Serve as subject‑matter expert for Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Daily Management Systems (DMS), providing guidance and training on DMS, Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate (CIL), Centerlines, Abnormality Handling, and 5S.
Drive loss elimination of raw ingredients, packaging material, and finished goods by observing operations and analyzing loss data to recommend solutions.
Participate in planned production “stops” for routine maintenance or other activities; coach operators on proactive planning versus unplanned breakdowns.
Communicate effectively with Value Stream Managers, CI Engineers, Maintenance Leads, and Quality & Safety Associates on decisions that directly impact productivity.
Follow all GMPs/PPE requirements for the site.
