Job Purpose The Production Coordinator leads and integrates the efforts of a team or multiple teams across all shifts, ensuring quality, safety, reliability, and quantity of production lines. Responsible for people management, problem solving, and project management skills. Works autonomously within established procedures to produce finished goods or sub-assemblies.
Shift 12‑hour rotating shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, 2‑2‑3 rotation.
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting or carrying (10‑50 lbs) and pushing or pulling (50‑300 lbs)
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, or gripping
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and in confined spaces
Ability to stand or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift)
Basic reading, writing, and communication in English
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Technical degree
5+ years of manufacturing experience with progressive responsibility
Certified Trainer in DMS/AM or problem‑solving
Experience using Weever
JDA knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Works directly with the Production Leader to create daily and weekly production plans and supports execution focused on associate capability and flawless execution.
In the absence of the Production Leader, performs duties of the role, demonstrating necessary leadership behaviors.
Provides guidance and training to Associates on Autonomous Maintenance and Daily Management Systems, including DMS, Clean Inspect Lubricant, Centerlines, Abnormality handling, and 5S.
Drives loss elimination of raw ingredients, packaging material, and finished goods through observation of operations and analysis of loss data to recommend solutions.
Participates in planned production stops for maintenance or other routine activities; coaches operators on proactive planning versus unplanned breakdowns.
Communicates with Value Stream Managers, CI Engineers, Maintenance Leads, and Quality & Safety Associates regarding decisions that impact productivity.
Follows all GMPs/PPE for site and adheres to quality assurance standards.
