Job Overview Project Manager - Existing Installations
As a Project Manager EI, you will effectively manage customer relationships for elevator and escalator services. Oversee servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrades of assigned units to meet customer and company standards for quality, safety and cost management. Support area objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.
Core Responsibilities
Account Management – Build and manage favorable client relationships, secure and renew maintenance/service agreements, respond to inquiries and prepare estimates, negotiate terms, drive sales KPIs, partner with Business Services Center, validate accounts receivable.
Operations & Field Management – Lead a safe and effective team of field technicians, coordinate routes, schedule and order parts, verify payroll accuracy, train and coach technicians, manage logistics, implement preventive maintenance.
Communication & Collaboration – Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and customers, resolve operational challenges, collaborate with New Installation and Modernization PMs, engineers, staff and contractors to optimize workflows, identify efficiencies.
Quality & Safety – Conduct site inspections, Field Safety Audits, ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience in Project Management, Account Management or Service/Maintenance management.
Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, communication, interpersonal skills and proven leadership.
Highly organized, dependable, detail‑oriented.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, working knowledge of SAP and elevator/escalator systems.
Flexibility for on‑call work and office/field mix.
Adaptable to fast‑paced environment.
Experience in HVAC, building automation, facilities maintenance, electrical or plumbing.
Empathy, listening, ability to build client relationships.
Compensation Base Salary $113,400 – $141,700. Typical range; may vary based on experience, location, skills.
