Project Manager - Existing Installations Main Responsibilities As a Project Manager EI, you will effectively manage customer relationships for elevator and escalator services. Oversight of servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrades to meet customer and company standards for quality, safety and cost management. Support area objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.
Essential Functions
Account Management
– Build and manage favorable client relationships with building owners and property managers to secure and renew maintenance/service agreements. Respond to customer inquiries and prepare estimates to ensure satisfactory resolution. Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while also delivering on customer requirements. Drive sales KPIs including Time and Material processing, repair bookings and capital planning. Partner with Business Services Center to validate accounts receivable information, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Operations & Field Management
– Build a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians to ensure maintenance meets quality standards as well as contract requirements. Coordinate routes, schedule, order parts and verify payroll accuracy while ensuring fulfillment standards. Educate technicians on processes, tools and standards through training and performance programs. Manage logistics and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
Communication, Collaboration & Problem Solving
– Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customers to investigate, resolve and address operational challenges. Maintain relationships with local IUEC business agents and communicate effectively to resolve disputes. Collaborate with engineers, technical service staff and contractors to optimize project workflows and identify efficiencies. Perform site inspections and field safety audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
What You Bring Education : Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent 5+ years of experience, preferably in a similar function such as Project Management, Account Management or Service/Maintenance management.
Other Requirements :
Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive employee relations with proven leadership skills.
Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Flexibility to be on‑call as needed and balance a mix of office and fieldwork.
Working knowledge of SAP and elevator/escalator systems.
Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
HVAC, building automation, facilities maintenance, electrical or plumbing experience.
Ability to empathize, listen and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships.
Base Salary $113,400 – $141,700
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits.
