Job Description This role is responsible for assisting with the production of Sideline Department material. The Production Associate (Sideline Material Handler) is responsible for the general operation and daily execution of the DF schedule, maintaining on-time delivery while being as efficient as possible. The role works closely with the PWO staging team, the production art team, and the DF production team to ensure the floor operates smoothly.
Location Details 950 E Ave K, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Work Hours Monday – Friday 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM. Full time team members work 8‑hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.
Peak Season (July‑December) Requirements Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.
How You Will Make An Impact Utilize personal protective equipment as required for personal safety, and ensure that each DF machine is set up with jobs daily.
What You Will Do
Review work order, observe specifications and any special notes, and prepare work area to start printing multi‑color work.
Perform direct physical activity to maintain productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.
Check decorated garments for quality based on customer specifications.
Assist the press operator by loading material on the press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre‑counting material before decoration based on paperwork.
Operate machinery used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen‑printing process.
Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
Ensure that the area and equipment are kept clean and wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of peers.
Qualifications Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Must be able to follow orders and operate machines properly.
Ability to differentiate and coordinate colors.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Cooperate and work well with others in a team‑oriented environment.
Must be punctual with excellence in attendance.
Education / Experience
HS Diploma or GED (required).
1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience.
Learn tasks quickly, is detail‑oriented, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.
Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive body movements.
Ability to lift and/or move no less than 15–35 lbs. on a regular basis.
Stand 8 hours.
