The Test Analyst/Engineer will focus on end-to-end testing of new and emerging technologies for the U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive – Fires, Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD/USG).
This is an onsite position in Huntsville, AL on Redstone Arsenal.
Responsibilities
Coordinate across Portfolio Acquisition Executive-Fires and Army test community in the identification and completion of all test and regulatory requirements IAW test plans and procedures
Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports
Create test plans and detailed step-by-step test procedures to satisfy requirements
Support the Test Director in the execution of highly complex tests according to approved procedures
Analyze data to ensure customer requirements are met and determine satisfaction
Develop mitigation strategies for identified issues and follow up to ensure problems are resolved
Provide timely information and periodic reports pertaining to the overall status of all assigned projects
Participate in integrated product teams to formulate, establish, and coordinate customer requirements
Develop and deliver briefings to senior stakeholders across all project phases
25% travel may be expected for this role
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in related discipline
At least 10 years of applicable experience
Must currently hold and be able to maintain an active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation
Creative, strong problem‑solving skills, and able to perform well under stressful situations
Experience in testing and evaluation (T&E) of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
In depth knowledge of U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) System capability and requirements process
In depth knowledge of Army test planning, processes, and execution
In depth knowledge of Integrated Battle Command Station architecture and interoperability
Self‑motivated with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
Proficiency with Windows‑based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams)
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of office administration and procedures
Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully
Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results
Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented
Work well both independently and in a team environment
Be energized by a fast‑paced work environment
Must be able to communicate with others effectively
Analyze information and respond appropriately
Manage time wisely and prioritize tasks

Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday; additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required
