Test and Evaluation Analyst
Full‑time position at Astrion, on‑site at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Requires Secret Clearance and approximately 25% travel.
Overview The role focuses on resourcing, coordinating, and aligning targets and aircraft to support all testing requirements across the IFD landscape, including Integrated Fires Test Campaigns, Guam Defense System, Golden Dome for America, and other integrated test events.
Responsibilities
Interface with Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine air asset organizations to ensure aircraft availability for test missions.
Work directly with White Sand Missile Range Control and other test agencies to resolve conflicts and drive testing on the range.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct pilot briefings with multiple organizations to ensure mission orchestration.
Perform analyses and prepare documentation and reports in support of test events.
Coordinate logistical support to aircraft, unmanned air vehicles, ballistic missile target groups, and aircrews.
Coordinate across PAE-Fires and Army test community to identify and complete all test and regulatory requirements per test plans and procedures.
Create test plans and detailed step‑by‑step procedures to satisfy requirements.
Support the Test Director in executing highly complex tests according to approved procedures.
Analyze data to ensure customer requirements are met and measure satisfaction.
Develop mitigation strategies for identified issues and follow up to resolve problems.
Provide timely information and periodic reports on overall project status.
Participate in integrated product teams to formulate, establish, and coordinate customer requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications / Skills
B.S. degree in a related discipline.
At least 18 years of applicable experience, or a master’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
Must currently possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation.
Prospective Test Analyst/Engineers should be creative, have good problem‑solving skills, and work well under stressful situations.
Experience in the T&E of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
In‑depth knowledge of U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) system capability.
In‑depth knowledge of the AIAMD requirements process.
In‑depth knowledge of Army test planning, processes, and execution.
In‑depth knowledge of Integrated Battle Command Station architecture and interoperability.
Self‑motivated; possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Proficient with Windows‑based PC software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams).
