Tom Trese
Job Title: Accountant / Client Services Specialist
Location: Mount Pleasant, WI (On-Site)
Are you looking for a role where you can
make a real difference
for small businesses? Our client, a boutique accounting firm, is seeking an
accounting professional
to join their close-knit, seasoned team.
This is not a typical corporate grind. Instead, you’ll be the
go‑to person
for small business owners who outsource their accounting, payroll, and tax functions. You’ll manage their books, keep payroll running smoothly, and provide the peace of mind they need to focus on running their business.
Outside of tax season, you’ll focus on day‑to‑day accounting and client service. During spring tax season, you’ll help prepare returns alongside an experienced team. It’s a
teachable and developable role —perfect for someone with bookkeeping or accounting exposure who wants to grow their skills.
Why you’ll love it here:
A smaller, congenial office where people truly enjoy their work
Low turnover and a collaborative, supportive environment
The chance to build relationships across a wide variety of industries
Flexibility to learn, contribute, and develop professionally
This opening is due to an upcoming retirement, so you’ll be stepping into a
stable, long‑standing client base
and a role where your contributions matter every day.
We’re open on background: degree or non-degree, CPA or not, as long as you bring a foundation in accounting/bookkeeping and the drive to learn.
If you want to be part of a team that’s professional yet fun, supportive yet challenging, and impactful in the lives of small business owners, we’d love to hear from you.
If interested, please share your resume today and let's talk. If not, please share this with others who qualify for this important role. Looking forward to our discussion!
