Wilson & Company is seeking a licensed architect to provide project management for the design and construction of a wide variety of project types, including educational, industrial, municipal, and commercial projects. The role requires experience in developing construction documents, specifications, and technical expertise on projects, as well as familiarity with architectural building construction materials, systems, and related codes.
Essential Job Functions
Willingness to learn and effectively communicate in a collaborative team environment.
Client interaction and coordination on a frequent basis.
Develops and maintains relationships with team members, clients, and industry stakeholders.
Participates in business development activities such as marketing, developing project win strategies, and preparing technical data for proposals and interviews.
Ensures quality management with implementation of quality control standards.
Responsibilities And Duties
Creation and management of the architectural scope of work and fee for projects.
Develop project plans that include scheduling, allocation of resources, and planning for financial success.
Collaborate with team members for effective execution across all phases of design and construction.
Maintain strong organization skills and follow implemented standards and procedures.
Prepare technical equipment specifications for construction documents.
Develop and maintain progress, quality control, schedule, staffing planning, and coordination with project management, including regular reporting.
Coordinate communications between the project team, engineering, and design team members to assure quality of work and consistent technical content across all deliverables.
Target pursuit opportunities and develop client relationships.
Be energetic, positive, and inspiring.
Required Skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong understanding of architectural design and construction principles.
Experience with project management, managing technical professionals, and leading multiple concurrent projects.
Experience in managing project pursuits, preparing proposals, and working with marketing staff.
Required Experience
Professional degree in Architecture.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of architecture.
Licensed Architect registered in the State of Colorado, Texas, Arizona, or New Mexico.
Experience with industry‑standard software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience in the preparation of work plans, budgets, and project schedules is highly desired.
