Responsibilities
Manage commercial performance and cost control for designated work packages.
Verify contractor progress and quantities to support accurate payment assessments.
Review and negotiate change requests, providing clear recommendations.
Prepare cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and variance updates.
Collaborate with procurement and project controls to align budgets, contracts and schedules.
Identify and support value‑engineering opportunities.
Maintain clear commercial records to support issue or dispute resolution.
Work closely with technical and site teams to track scope, schedule and cost impacts.
Act as a commercial partner to the project team, ensuring contractual obligations and project objectives are met.
Qualifications
Degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in cost and commercial management on major capital projects.
Strong background in field verification of contractor progress and cost assessments.
Experience within complex or highly regulated industrial environments.
Proven negotiation skills with contractors and delivery partners.
Proficient in cost management and reporting tools, including major ERP and data platforms.
Able to produce accurate commercial documentation in fast‑paced project environments.
