By joining our BV Construction group, you will develop and enhance your skills in an on-site, hands‑on environment. The Construction Manager will lead projects through construction phases, coordinating with owners, subcontractors, utilities, and other stakeholders to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects on time and on budget while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute the QA/QC program on wastewater, stormwater, and water utilities construction projects. Assist the owner in managing and delivering projects on time and on budget, utilizing internal Project Management Information Systems. Preferably have Procore experience. Present findings to clients through effective oral and written communication. Communicate effectively and coordinate with EOR, contractors, and owners. Lead and manage construction administration phases for the owner, including submittal reviews, RFI, correspondence, change requests, pay application processing, inspection staff supervision, and change orders. Handle technical and managerial responsibilities and delegate tasks to junior staff. Assist in the preparation of client fee proposals. Preferred Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline; PE or CCM preferred. 10 to 20 years of experience on water/wastewater projects, primarily in water infrastructure upgrades. Minimum Qualifications
7+ years as a Superintendent with a degree, or 10+ years without a degree. Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records). Certifications
OSHA 10 or 30 training required. CCM certification a plus. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Physical Demands: Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs. Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and move in confined spaces. Perform repetitive movements and work up to 12‑hour shifts. Work at heights up to 5 ft and climb steel framework, ladders, and scaffolds. Work Environment: Typical construction site with exposure to temperature extremes, dust, wind, snow, rain, and noise. Occasional office work. Position is safety‑sensitive. EEO Statement
