We’re hiring for our Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire, WI offices. Positions are available in Transportation, including Design, Construction, Land Development, Traffic, Roundabouts, and Local Government.
Job Responsibilities
Apply your civil engineering knowledge to complete project tasks under the guidance of senior staff
Collaborate effectively with colleagues while embracing JT’s values and positive culture
Develop working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external project teams
Deliver high‑quality work that meets established standards and expectations
Follow internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Job Requirements
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Entry level to 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry
Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification preferred, or a demonstrated commitment to obtain the certification
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or site inspection
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical competence to perform project tasks independently
Ability to learn client and internal software required to complete projects
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
To occasionally travel out‑of‑town and overnight for professional development and/or project‑related work
