BRI Consulting Group, Inc. is hiring a Joint Venture & Contract Compliance Auditor to join our growing audit team.

We are involved in projects across North America and, through our affiliated company BRI International Consulting, Inc., operate in Canada, Egypt, Thailand, Brazil and Israel.
We are looking for a professional eager to grow with a mentorship-focused firm and develop their oil & gas expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret Joint Operating Agreements, COPAS accounting procedures, Master Service Agreements, pricing schedules, and amendments into testable audit criteria.
Process and analyze data from clients, Operators, and vendors for audit planning and fieldwork.
Test billing compliance—rates, quantities, markups, taxes, and allocations—against contractual terms and approvals.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, audit team members, operators, and vendors.
Complete audit programs, maintain defensible workpapers, and write clear, comprehensive reports.
Direct, coach, and review the work of team members; uphold quality standards.
Plan and lead risk-based joint venture and contract compliance audits (including scope, audit program, sampling, and timelines).
Manage project budgets, schedules, and status reporting.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Mathematics preferred)
Active CPA license or CPA-eligible (preferred, not required)
U.S. work authorization (no visa requirements)
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Professional proficiency in English (additional languages a plus)
Willing to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis (valid passport or ability to obtain one)
Experience in oil & gas operations (preferred, not required)
Experience with joint venture or contract compliance audits (preferred, not required)
