Printing Assistant - 3rd Shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Make quality related decisions using product specification testing.
Mix ink and adjust viscosities to maintain required colors.
Prepare the press for the succeeding press run by performing line clearance procedures.
Perform and document all necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods.
Perform entries into the computer system for raw materials.
Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required.
Provide necessary communication at shift change.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous Flexo printing experience preferred.
Web handling fundamentals.
Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
Beginner level computer skills.
English language verbal and written communication skills.
High school math skills.
Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently with team members.
Proficient at color matching.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment.
Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment.
Must be able to pass a color proficiency test and color blindness test.
