Job Summary The
Associate Project Manager
supports the execution of control system projects from proposal through closeout. This role assists in coordinating internal and external resources to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The Associate Project Manager manages smaller projects and supports senior project managers on larger or more complex initiatives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
3–5 years of technical experience with exposure to project management.
Demonstrated professional growth with increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities
Support planning and execution of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and documentation.
Assist senior project managers with schedules, forecasts, risk tracking, and change orders.
Estimate task durations and support project forecasting activities.
Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
Support installation and commissioning activities in the field.
Develop working knowledge of control system design, system integration, and basic electrical/mechanical concepts.
Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and safety policies.
Produce clear, accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
Adapt to changing project needs and maintain a collaborative, team‑focused approach.
Required Skills
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical awareness.
Willingness to learn and seek guidance from senior staff.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with diverse teams.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Travel & Availability
25%–50% travel expected.
On‑call participation as required by project needs.
