Construction Project Manager I Location: Onsite – Port Washington, WI

Job Summary The Construction Project Manager I is responsible for managing the electrical installation subcontractor delivering the controls scope of work on large, hyperscale data center projects. This role owns subcontractor execution from kickoff through installation, wire pulls, terminations, quality checks, and turnover for BMS controls and electrical monitoring systems. You will oversee schedule, cost, labor, procurement, and reporting, while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and contractual requirements. This position works onsite and serves as the primary interface between the electrical subcontractor and the Thermo Systems project team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the electrical installation subcontractor delivering controls and monitoring systems.

Lead subcontractor execution from kickoff through installation, testing, and quality validation.

Maintain accountability for schedule, labor, cost, procurement, and financial tracking.

Enforce safety, quality, and workmanship standards in alignment with QMS requirements.

Coordinate with trades, site leadership, customers, and internal project teams.

Identify risks, scope gaps, and change conditions; support change order execution.

Apply working knowledge of electrical systems, controls design, and system interfaces.

Support installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and documentation review.

Promote a collaborative, safety‑focused jobsite environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

3+ years in construction or project management within electrical, controls, or automation environments.

Electrical background required (electrician, foreman, or equivalent strongly preferred).

Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, procurement, and field execution.

Strong independent decision‑making, risk identification, and adaptability.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project documentation tools.

Valid driver’s license and fit‑for‑duty status.

Travel & Work Expectations

Onsite role based in Port Washington, WI.

Ability to relocate to future project sites as needed.

Expected travel at future sites: 25–50%.

Limited travel currently; no routine on‑call requirement (project‑based only).
