Position Summary
The Program Coordinator will manage a six‑pronged training and assistance project for disability providers across Georgia. The role includes in‑state implementation of complex scope of work, coordination of Community Access training, budget monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives with sub‑awards and provider agencies. Duties & Responsibilities
Program Management:
Implement statewide scope of work providing training, technical assistance, and evaluative feedback in all six DBHDD regions; coordinate mandatory training for ~300 disability organizations. Sub‑Award Coordination:
Communicate and plan with sub‑awards (UMass‑Boston, NASDDS); track work plans, budgets, and programmatic outcomes. DBHDD Coordination:
Plan with state‑level and regional DBHDD staff; focus on training delivery design, implementation, and outcomes tracking. Reporting & Compliance:
Create and disseminate progress reports, develop documentation to track outcomes, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Event Coordination & Training Support:
Facilitate webinars using Moodle, Zoom, and Teams; collaborate with event coordinators on site arrangement, scheduling, and setup. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience. Preferred: Experience with state‑wide projects focused on training and education, working with state and local units of government, subcontractors, and systems change projects in human services. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Project management experience in related fields; implementation experience with complex scopes of work. Strong background in program development and management within social work or behavioral health settings state‑wide. Experience working with human service providers, staff, funders, and other stakeholders. Excellent relationship management skills to foster collaboration among diverse groups. Demonstrated administrative experience including documentation and reporting. Knowledge of evidence‑based principles and practices applicable to the target population. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners across the state. Experience hosting virtual communities of practice involving front‑line staff, supervisors, advocates, regional personnel, and trainers. Physical Demands
