Yale New Haven Health is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Fairfield, CT.

Provides exceptional patient care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. Serves as the focal professional for continuity of care within scope of practice standards.

Responsibilities
Clinical Care: implement accurate, safe, patient‑centered anesthetic care.
Professional Skill: monitor vital signs, capnography, pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines.
Information Management: ensure appropriate documentation and protect information.
Quality Management: demonstrate high standards of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion.
Professional Development: engage in projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
Qualifications
Education: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program; current Connecticut nursing license, APRN licensure.
Experience: preferred CRNA experience; required appointment to YNHHS Medical Staff and credentialing.
Licensure: AANA Certification, CT RN and APRN license, ACLS, DEA Registration, CT Controlled Substance Registration.
Special Skills: sharp concentration, calm under stress, effective communication with surgical team and patients, immediate and responsive anesthetic management, flexibility and adaptability.
Physical Demands: ability to stand long periods, lift 25 lbs, meet sensory, motor skill requirements, adapt under stress.
