Overview
Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm North Valley Temp to perm Receptionist/Administrative Assistant manages front office operations, serving as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, handling calls, and mail, while also providing crucial administrative support like scheduling meetings, managing calendars, data entry, ordering supplies, and preparing documents, ensuring smooth daily office flow and a positive first impression. Key duties blend front desk presence with general clerical tasks, requiring strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations : Greet and direct visitors, answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, manage the reception area's appearance.
Communication : Handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages, respond to emails, take messages.
Scheduling & Coordination : Manage electronic calendars, schedule/coordinate meetings, book conference rooms, arrange travel.
Administrative Support : Data entry, filing, preparing documents (memos, reports, presentations), managing office supply inventory, handling invoicing.
Office Maintenance : Ensure the office is presentable, manage basic office equipment (photocopiers, etc.).
Essential Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a receptionist or admin role.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Pay Details
$21.00 to $23.00 per hour Benefits
