Responsibilities
Supervises, coordinates schedules, interviews, trains and evaluates staff.
Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
Performs a variety of diagnostic Ultrasound procedures.
Monitors equipment and department supplies.
Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
Full Time, Days
Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Position Summary The Ultrasound Supervisor supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Ultrasound Department, including scheduling, inventory control, U.S./RIS and direct and indirect patient care needs. Interviews, trains and evaluates Ultrasound staff. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education Graduate of an accredited program for Ultrasonography
Experience Two years experience as an Ultrasonographer with experience in vascular, OB/GYN and abdominal procedures
Licenses, Certifications
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Current CPR (BCLS) certification
