Pay & Benefits Pay range:
$22.00 – $32.00 per hour
plus
$8.00 per billed hour commission .
3‑week training program for new team members

Essential Job Duties / Functions
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections.
Grease trucks and trailers; perform tire services.
Conduct electrical, brake, and wheel‑end/seal evaluations and repairs.
Perform all minor repairs and body work, including replacing panels, posts, and rail sections.
Complete complex welding tasks such as aluminum rail repairs and brake chamber bracket installation.
Conduct CSA/DOT inspections according to regulations.
Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and stocked mobile maintenance vehicle.
Ensure all service equipment is in proper working order and repaired when needed.
Sell tires and parts while maintaining profit margins and adhering to trade guidelines.
Store parts, tires, and other items in designated locations.
Complete work orders with accurate customer information, labor details, parts used, and warranty documentation (including photos when necessary).
Ensure total customer satisfaction and uphold the integrity of Boss Truck Shops.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Stay current on LMS training.
Provide friendly and competent customer service.
Report for work promptly according to schedule.

Assist in other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience
At least two (2) years of diesel technician experience.
Tire Service Certified by TIA.
DOT Medical Card.
Successful completion of the Boss Truck Shops Tech I and II training programs.
Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration.
Ability to attend HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training.
Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, TIA, and other certifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
Skilled in welding.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
Reliable transportation and phone.
Proficiency in English communication – IF APPLICABLE.
Friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
Team‑player who works cooperatively with other team members.
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
Frequently stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, talk, hear; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
