1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Job Summary We are hiring a Production Coating Technician to operate Twin Wire Arc Spray (TWAS) equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on surface preparation, metal coating application, equipment monitoring, and quality inspection to ensure products meet required specifications.
This is a hands‑on position suited for candidates who enjoy working with industrial equipment and maintaining high‑quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate TWAS equipment to apply metal coatings per work instructions
Prepare parts by blasting, cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces prior to coating
Monitor spray parameters and adjust settings to ensure consistent coating quality
Perform in‑process and post‑coating inspections, including thickness and surface finish checks
Conduct daily coupon testing to confirm process performance
Accurately record coating data, surface measurements, and process parameters
Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by completing daily 6S activities
Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE at all times
Assist with additional production tasks such as media blasting or masking as needed
Qualifications
Manufacturing or production experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation accurately
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
Ability to work assigned shift
