About The Role The Casino Host is responsible for providing outstanding guest services to the guests of the Ocean Casino Resort.
Position Responsibilities
Promote Ocean Casino Resort's Loyalty Card by making contact with prospective members, explaining the benefits, and answering questions about membership through invitations, telemarketing techniques, email, and direct player contact.
Actively pursue new Loyalty Card prospects and promote the benefits of the Loyalty Card program.
This is a highly visible position both on and off Casino property, requiring professional behavior and appearance at all times.
Devote significant time being visible and available on the casino floor to meet and greet guests during individual visits and special events.
Work with and support player development by meeting customers and attending to customer needs.
Provide outstanding guest service and assist casino management with conflict resolution.
Support all marketing efforts including Loyalty Card Center and Special Events as needed.
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas; must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Requirements
College degree preferred, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year Casino Guest Service experience, including but not limited to Player Development, Slots, or Table Games.
One (1) year of hosting experience with an adequate customer following preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and sales skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
