Moberly Area Community College, NJCAA Division II, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Baseball Coach. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head Baseball Coach and Director of Athletics. MACC is a member of the Missouri Community College Athletic Association and Region 16. Duties include assisting with coaching and recruiting, academic monitoring/advising, and other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a 10‑month contract. A Bachelor's degree is required, playing and coaching experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license required.

The duties of the Men’s Baseball Assistant Coach are as follows:

Assist the Greyhounds and Greyhound baseball program;

Perform duties as assigned by the Athletic Director on and off the field;

All backgrounds will be considered;

Monitor academic progress of the players;

Attend regular baseball practices;

Assist in develop training programs and strength training programs;

Must be able to throw batting practice;

Assist with recruiting players for purposes of attending college and playing baseball;

Assist with study halls when requested;

Assist with marketing department and or alumni relations;

Adhere to policies and regulations as outlined in Policy Handbook;

Obtain a CDL driver's license as needed;

Abide by the rules and regulations as outlined in the Moberly Area Community College Housing Handbook, unless otherwise agreed by the College President;

Assists and manages the student managers;

Works closely with the Sports Medicine staff;

Maintains a thorough knowledge of rules and regulations for MACC, NJCAA, MCCAA, and Region 16;

Assists with maintenance of baseball/athletic facilities;

Assists with other duties/projects as assigned within the Student Affairs Department.
