Location and Travel The candidate may be located in North or South Carolina. The role requires frequent travel (approximately 50% of the time) throughout North and South Carolina, with occasional trips to Richmond, VA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and assist with implementation of OSHA, MSHA, EPA, ANSI, DOT, and other federal, state, and local safety standards, as well as company safety policies and programs.
Maintain company and customer safety records and reporting requirements (OSHA logs, Avetta, IsNetworld, EMCOR internal reporting systems, etc.).
Conduct safety training during new‑hire orientations.
Conduct safety meetings at company facilities and job sites on an ad‑hoc or scheduled basis.
Assist with development and execution of specialized safety education and training programs.
Assist with distribution of safety information and site‑specific programs to contractors, subcontractors, and customers; prepare job safety analyses when required.
Coordinate with operations to purchase and distribute safety equipment, tools, and PPE.
Conduct site and vehicle safety visits and audits to ensure compliance.
Complete injury and accident forms and record them in EMCOR’s systems.
Maintain Safety Data Sheet information and ensure appropriate access.
Enforce and communicate company service and installation quality standards during safety inspections.
SKILLS / ABILITIES
Working knowledge of hazard identification, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, fall protection, and general safe work practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred but not required.
3–5 years of related experience in commercial/heavy industrial HVAC or construction.
10/30‑Hour OSHA or other professional certification preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The employee must regularly talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, reach with arms, and use hands. Lifting up to 75 pounds may be required. The employee must climb ladders and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Close vision is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Regular exposure to high noise levels and exposure to the elements while working outdoors.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Local to North or South Carolina is preferred. Travel, including overnight stays, may occasionally be required.
