LifeScape Specialty Hospital is very unique!
Why? It is the only pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the state! Our pediatric unit provides 24-hour specialized care to patients ranging from birth to 21-years old who have complex medical needs. Our team of nurses work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, family-centered environment. Our PRN Opportunity is 20 hours/month. Some of the many important tasks that RN’s get to do at LifeScape include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients for both our medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation unit
Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, neb treatments, and ventilator use
Communicates a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status
Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit
Administers medications/enteral feedings
Promotes health and safety
Builds relationships with patients and their families
