Job Summary and Responsibilities The registered nurse is responsible to take primary responsibility to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of each assigned patient. The RN provides direct patient care, supervises nursing staff, anticipates patient needs, follows up on all care‑related activities, and ensures all physician orders are accurately transcribed and carried out in a timely manner. The RN coordinates the plan of care, conducts patient teaching specific to disease entity and home management, actively participates in ensuring a care continuum, collaborates with other nursing and ancillary services to assure seamless communication and uninterrupted patient care, models leadership behaviors, fosters a spirit of collaboration and teamwork, and mentors peers and colleagues.

Job Requirements

Current CA RN license.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.

Preferred 1 year ICU experience.

New Graduate RNs must complete the additional certifications (ACLS and NIHSS) for this position within 60 days of hire.

Pay Range $43.59 – $75.64 per hour
