Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center – 25 Fanning St, Staten Island, NY 10314. Facility:
576‑bed Skilled Nursing Facility dedicated to high‑quality, affordable health services.
We are looking for an energetic Occupational Therapist to join our team and help residents achieve maximum independence and health.
Job Summary The Occupational Therapist employs purposeful activities and interventions to enhance independence and maintain health for individuals affected by injury, illness, cognitive, psychosocial, or developmental challenges. They conduct assessments, administer and interpret standardized and non‑standardized tests to identify therapeutic needs.
Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and educate patients, families, and other stakeholders.
Design interventions aimed at developing daily living skills, work readiness, play skills, leisure capacities, or educational performance.
Develop sensory‑motor, perceptual, neuromuscular, range‑of‑motion, and emotional, motivational, cognitive, or psychosocial performance enhancements.
Qualifications
Current state license in good standing.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with patients and families.
Preferred: prior experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Pay & Benefits Base pay:
$41.00–$52.00 per hour, based on experience. Sign‑on bonus:
$7,500.
