Adecco is currently seeking dependable Sanitation Technicians to support a food manufacturing and roasting facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and GMP compliance throughout production, warehouse, and common areas. This position is based in Rochester, NY. Candidates must have prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Clean overhead structures, production equipment, and facility areas following established sanitation guidelines

Pre-clean, dry clean, and wet clean equipment as required

Operate high-pressure cleaning systems and drum cleaning areas

Move pallets as needed to allow for proper floor cleaning; return pallets to designated locations

Sweep, mop, and maintain warehouse floors on a daily basis

Ensure all production and warehouse areas are free of foreign materials

Maintain change rooms and break rooms in a clean and orderly condition

Transport production waste, recyclable materials, and general plant trash

Act as a point of contact for third-party waste disposal and pest control providers

Assist with monitoring and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance

Report safety concerns, issues, or violations immediately to a supervisor

Keep building entrances clear of snow during winter months

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Prior experience as a sanitation worker in a food production or manufacturing facility required

Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to perform physical work, including standing, lifting, and bending

Pay Details $19.00 per hour
