Quality Control Technician I – 2nd Shift
Location: Sterling, VA
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Position Summary The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring food products meet company quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. This role supports quality assurance processes through inspections, documentation, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and document quality control inspections and controls
Perform employee inspections related to personal hygiene and GMP compliance
Collect samples for laboratory and sensory testing
Perform equipment calibration in accordance with QA procedures
Identify and report non-conformities to the QA Manager or QA Supervisor
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrates honesty, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and collaboration
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully complete Food Manager Certification, HACCP training, and sous-vide training
Prior experience in a restaurant, food manufacturing, or sanitation environment is a plus
Exposure to food production audits, GMPs, and food safety standards preferred
Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Details:
$17.00 per hour
