Summary/Overview:
This position performs logistic/customer service activities with focus on order entry and initiatives with logistic problem resolutions that occur across multiple channels for our customers. You will receive orders, and build out the order for shipping as well as respond to domestic customer inquiries regarding TIB Chemicals Corporation (aka Reaxis) products. You will interface with production, quality control, and freight forwarders/shipping services. You will understand the logistical processes of our company and be able to resolve customer service inquiries and issues while recommending appropriate solutions. Overall, this position maintains high levels of customer satisfaction consistent with our company's core values, through processing orders, entering finished process data including but not limited to order entry, coordination of shipments, invoicing, and international documents, while demonstrating commitment to quality through customer and service partner interactions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Process domestic and international customer orders and prepare required documentation.
Coordinate logistics (order tracking and timing) and resolve issues pertaining to orders.
Interface with logistics manager, production manager, and QC lab in order processing activities.
Coordinate inventory transfer to contract and consignment warehouses where applicable.
Interface with purchasing and accounting as necessary to assist with invoicing and pricing issues.
Cross-train with appropriate departments as requested, and attend operations planning meetings.
Assist with incoming sales calls and act as primary contact for the group in the absence of management.
Generate reports as requested for quality analysis.
DOT / IATA/IMDG Training will be provided. Regular attendance and punctuality required.
Capacity to work safely and efficiently.
Willingness to understand and demonstrate various government policies, procedures and guidelines as deemed by the supervisor (e.g., ISO, DOT, etc.).
Ability to get along well with others and maintain a respectful, benevolent rapport with coworkers, customers, and management.
Ability to maintain and demonstrate personal accountability and responsibility.
Willingness to ABL (always be learning) and/or ABT (always be teaching).
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Requirements
Three years of experience with order-taking, invoicing or similar experience.
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by equipment vendors, or (4) job specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform applications, especially in Excel and Word.
Demonstrable communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills – involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first‑level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
Mental aptitude to work through complex problems by referencing previous precedent. Role has complexity which requires problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by equipment vendors, or (4) job specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Experience working for a chemical manufacturer.
Strong International Order Taking.
Previous DOT / IATA/IMDG Training.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full‑time status.
Work Environment
This job operates in an Industrial and Administrative setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Basic office equipment (e.g., phone, copier, fax machine, printer, computer, and laminator).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
