Custodial Supervisor – Evening Shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Friday)

About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor to oversee our evening custodial operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of custodians, ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position plays a key role in maintaining our organization’s professional image and providing a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the work of evening custodial staff.
Inspect facilities to ensure cleaning and sanitation standards are met.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory; submit purchase requests as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
Assist in scheduling, shift coverage, and performance management.
Perform custodial duties as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of custodial or janitorial experience, with 1+ year in a supervisory role preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks as required.
