Position Summary As the
NOC Shift RN , you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing operations during your shift, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will serve as a clinical leader, supporting staff, overseeing resident care, and maintaining a safe and calm overnight environment.
Key Responsibilities (Summary)
Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical operations during the NOC shift
Ensure compliance with facility policies, care plans, and regulatory standards
Provide direct nursing care and respond to changes in resident condition
Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
Communicate resident status and concerns to physicians, families, and leadership
Monitor medication administration, treatments, and documentation for accuracy
Support staff development, coaching, and teamwork
Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
Current, active RN license in good standing with the State of California
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
Current CPR certification
Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and nursing best practices
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
