Sr. Project Manager – Merger & Acquisition
Location: Indianapolis, IN.
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead integration efforts for a Merger and Acquisition initiative.
Responsibilities
Coordinate cross- functional due diligence across finance, legal, HR, IT, and operations.
Develop integration roadmaps, manage risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
Produce clear, actionable summaries for executive review.
Facilitate meetings with business leaders to identify tasks, dependencies, and milestones.
Drive adoption of new processes and systems post-acquisition.
Support training and communication plans for impacted teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Maintain accurate documentation for audit and legal purposes.
Manage project teams dispersed across the United States and overseas.
Qualifications & Required Skills
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including IT and M&A integration projects.
Proficiency in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and legal due diligence.
Strong knowledge of IT systems integration and data migration.
Ability to manage secure data rooms and access controls.
Exceptional stakeholder communication and executive‑level reporting skills.
Risk management expertise and ability to propose mitigation strategies.
Experience with project management software and advanced scheduling.
Effective management of third‑party vendor relationships.
