Role
Practice Manager of Operations at Heartland Dental. This role partners with the Doctor to support the business needs of each supported dental office, foster a strong team culture, and ensure patients receive exceptional care. Responsibilities
Strive towards mastery of the role by prioritizing and completing all PMO Training to develop technical, commitment, and leadership skills Develop and pursue annual top 10 business goals and 16 personal development goals (5 technical, 5 commitment, 6 personality) Ensure goals and priorities of Doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership Participate in leadership training every 18-24 months Support the Doctor Led, Hygiene Driven, Operations focus through monthly synergy meetings, weekly team meetings, and strong morning huddles Focus and prioritize team efforts to help Doctors achieve their Top 10 Professional goals Create alignment with doctors via daily one-on-ones, morning huddles, and weekly touchpoints Serve as a business partner for the Doctor, developing quarterly and annual financial goals Help Doctors prioritize, plan, and block schedules for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs Understand the benefits and metrics of DMP and monitor progress Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates that are an 80% match for both the position and the practice Partner with Doctors to identify skills needed for open positions and assemble the proper selection team Onboard new team members through partnerships with recruiting and support offices Support team members to prioritize and plan their training through Core Essentials and beyond for growth in their roles What You’ll Gain

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc. Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and team ethics Preferred Experience
1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable Dentrix or other dental software experience Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person when possible); some travel may be involved A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
