Reach Truck Operator
Job Description
The Reach Truck Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and powered pallet jacks, to move, stack, and store materials. The role requires experience in reach forklift operations.
Responsibilities
Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and powered pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Receive orders via a headset system and select the correct items from inventory locations.
Load and unload trailers at delivery locations or the distribution center.
Organize and consolidate inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper placement of products.
Adhere to all safety procedures and policies, complying with OSHA standards.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50-100 lbs occasionally, for shifts that may last 8-12 hours.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Yale equipment is a plus.
