Job Title: Assistant Manager in Vancouver, WA (Lease-Up)
Employment Type: Full-time
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Location: Lease-Up apartment community in Vancouver, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Reports to: Property Manager
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $24.00 per hour
Leasing and renewal commission opportunities

Responsibilities
Advertise and promote the property
Utilize industry‑specific software for lead management
Provide tours to prospective and current residents
Complete the full lease cycle with prospective residents
Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance requirements
Maintain resident occupancy at 95%
Ensure timely collection of rent and ancillary revenue
Assist Property Manager with delinquency process and vendor invoice processing
Engage with prospective and current tenants professionally and courteously
Navigate priority changes and respond to emergencies
Reduce tenant turnover by identifying issues, mediating, and recommending solutions
Complete quality assurance calls after work orders
Facilitate resident events
Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
Attend training and development seminars
Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
What You’ll Need
Authorization to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ year(s) of experience in multi‑family property management
Experience with Yardi Voyager and CRM preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong teamwork, hygiene, ethical behavior, customer service, communication skills, multitasking, conflict resolution, analytical decision‑making, and continuous professional development
Work Environment
Approximately 80% office environment using computer and phone
Approximately 20% inspecting property grounds (apartments, building structure, landscaping, signage) – may require climbing stairs, ladders, and maneuvering walkways
Ability to carry or move objects up to 20 pounds
