Maintenance Technician, Multifamily – Cushman & Wakefield (Addison at Princeton Meadows) The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Maintenance Technician responds to residents' service needs and helps deliver superior customer service. Responsibilities

Prepares make-ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide a quality move-in experience. Responds to resident requests in a timely manner with a professional attitude. Maintains knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal (if applicable). Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean, operational, and safe. Participates in on-call scheduling to respond to after-hours emergencies as required. Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor. Complies with state, local, and federal fair housing laws. Attends and participates in required training programs. Performs all duties in a timely manner and delivers superior customer service while representing the company professionally at all times. Adheres to Cushman & Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards. Maintains safety procedures and safeguards all tools and equipment. Maintains reliable on-site attendance, reports tardiness/attendance issues to the supervisor as needed. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications & Competencies

Valid Driver's license; EPA 608 Type II and CPO or local equivalent certificate. Ability to read/understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, and operating instructions. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve problems involving several variables in routine situations; good judgment and common sense in following instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Commitment to following all safety procedures. Education & Experience

High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school 1+ years of related experience Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Regularly use standard office equipment and may require standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally/frequently. Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for the position is $21.25 - $25.00 per hour. Cushman & Wakefield provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay, with details determined by location, eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
