Lead Planner Channel Operations
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Lead Planner to partner strategically with distributors and internal stakeholders to optimize inventory management and fulfillment across the Innovative Medicine portfolio. This hybrid role can be located in Titusville, NJ; Somerset, NJ; or Louisville, KY. Remote work options may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis and if approved by the Company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead inventory management strategy for the Innovative Medicine portfolio, including planning, order processing, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
Drive operational excellence by leading continuous improvement initiatives, engaging external customers, and aligning efforts across supply chain and commercial teams.
Build and influence strategic relationships with Commercial Trade Relations and key customers to balance priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving for complex challenges, including root cause analysis and resolution of unanticipated events (e.g., product shortages, major disruptions).
Demonstrate advanced analytical competencies to develop dashboards, identify trends, generate insights, and inform strategic decision‑making.
Champion customer experience by setting high service standards and leading initiatives that drive customer engagement and continued partnership.
Qualifications Education
Minimum of a bachelor’s or equivalent university degree; advanced degree and/or focused degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations preferred.
Experience And Skills Required
Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
Proven data analytics experience to organize, analyze, and interpret data to find opportunities and influence business operations.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to think strategically and implement solutions.
Preferred
Customer‑centric mentality or customer‑facing experience, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Supply chain knowledge, including order management, forward and reverse distribution/logistics.
Experience with CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecast and Replenishment).
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Other
Required to travel up to 15% domestic.
Compensation The anticipated base pay range for this position is $94,000.00 - $151,800.00.
Benefits
Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year.
Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado, 56 hours for Washington).
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year.
Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year.
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child.
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year.
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period (10 days).
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year.
Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year.
