Summary The

Team Ops Lead

ensures the highest quality and consistency in products, leads kitchen or packaging support teams, manages opening and closing duties, and trains staff on a flexible schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee Production and/or Packaging employees

Assign duties and ensure adherence to daily schedule and cooking plan

Monitor team attendance, tardiness, and time‑off; report to Supervisor

Monitor team performance and ensure efficient execution of duties

Ensure quotas are met by observing team members and providing training/coaching

Assist Supervisors and Managers with training and coaching on procedures, techniques, and compliance protocols

Assist in Operations Management

Report and troubleshoot issues to Supervisor/Plant Manager

Accurately perform opening and closing duties

Ensure proper storage of consumables and products, following safety practices

Maintain high‑quality standards; conduct constant QA/QC for weight, appearance, and flavor profile

Keep a clean and organized workplace; enforce safety and sanitation procedures

Perform quality inspections and minimize waste

Recommend personnel evaluation and training improvements

Prepare, mix, cook, pour, deposit, pull, and store all consumables and products

Check equipment functionality regularly and infuse by scraping, turning, lifting, and rotating as required

Communicate information and respond to questions from all company levels

Quality Assurance Assistance

Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations, including health and safety standards

Record and communicate kitchen data, counts, measurements, and weights accurately

Report discrepancies in quantity or quality of product

Perform basic visual quality inspections

Communicate quality or safety discrepancies to Supervisors, Managers, and/or Directors

Maintain a safe working environment and discuss daily safety topics

Manage time effectively to stay on schedule and meet daily production expectations

Respond to questions and suggestions from various company levels

Qualifications

At least 1 year of directly related experience in a food production or kitchen environment, or equivalent education and experience and 1 year of lead or supervisory experience; familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations; high sense of urgency

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Must obtain all applicable state-required permits, licenses, certifications:

Oregon: Active Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) Marijuana Worker Permit

California: Pass a criminal background check or Live Scan

Arizona: Clear a criminal background check and obtain Facility or Dispensary Agent Card

Nevada: Active Nevada Cannabis Production / Distribution Agent Card

Colorado: Active Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Marijuana Worker’s Permit

ServSafe Food Handlers Card preferred

Must be willing to submit to a background check

All applicants must be 21 years of age or older

Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written

Benefits As a non‑exempt employee, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of $26–$30/hour, paid biweekly; overtime; 11 paid holidays; 80 hours of PTO; 401(k); fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
