Summary The Packaging Support team member efficiently packages product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include counting, labeling, assembling, bagging, and boxing items, performing basic visual inspections, reporting product or equipment issues, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe. The role is performed collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Package product inventory efficiently and effectively
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for yourself and other employees
Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
Maintain high‑quality standards during shifts, including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced
Work well with others in high‑pressure situations with a sense of urgency
Communicate information and respond to questions or suggestions from various levels within the company
Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory to supervisors
Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product
Perform other related duties and tasks when requested by supervisors
Qualifications
At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast‑paced work environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Must obtain all state‑required permits, licenses, and certifications
Willing to submit to a background check
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
State regulations require applicants to be 21 years of age or older
Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$24.30, paid biweekly. Overtime and 11 paid holidays. 80 hours of paid time off. 401(k). Fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
