Contract Recruiter
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a construction company in Albuquerque, NM who is in search of a contract recruiter. This job is fully onsite, Mondays-Friday. It is long term contract for now, paying up to $28/hr.
This job will focus on full-cycle, in-house recruiting for entry-level, mid-level, and management positions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable partnering closely with hiring managers in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles including field, office, and leadership positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and timelines
- Develop and post job openings across multiple platforms
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess qualifications and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offer processes
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Support onboarding coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- Previous in-house recruiting experience required
- Experience recruiting entry-level, mid-level, and management roles
- Construction or skilled trades recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a collaborative environment
