HR Specialist

LHH Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company near Tolleson who is in search of a HR Specialist to join their team. This role requires you to work fully onsite, and is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The hourly range is between $22/hr-$25/hr.

The HR Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws. This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment that requires excellent communication, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and administrative roles
  • Post job ads, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers
  • Conduct new-hire orientation and support onboarding processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Assist with employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain HR records, personnel files, and compliance documentation
  • Support performance management, training coordination, and policy updates
  • Assist with HR reporting, attendance tracking, and benefits administration

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong experience in recruiting and familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
