Duties
Handle local and national accounts throughout California.
Independently manage a litigation caseload.
Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
Review and analyze discovery requests.
Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
Engage in trial preparation and support.
Maintain accurate time records.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience.
Experience in General Liability, Product Liability, Complex Litigation, Toxic Tort Liability, or Environmental Liability preferred.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in the state of California.
Experience with motion practice and depositions.
Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
Capable of independent work.
Work in an organized and efficient manner.
Superior research and writing skills.
Ability to multi-task and analyze complex matters.
Education
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admitted to practice in the state of California.
Skills
