An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced RN to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting located near Pollock, LA. This contract position offers the chance to work in a highly regarded medical center known for its commitment to quality-driven healthcare and teamwork. Position Highlights: Location: Pollock, LA, within a 50-mile radius of Alexandria, LA Unit: 4 South (South Tower, 4th floor) with 36 beds and a 1:6 patient ratio Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 AM7 PM), every other weekend, with holiday coverage required Equipment: Telemetry monitors in every room, Dynamaps, glucometers, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication devices Documentation system: Meditech electronic health records Procedures: PICC line removal, vas cath and temp cath removal Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs with adherence to hospital hygiene and dress policies Desired Qualifications and Skills: Strong nursing knowledge and clinical assessment skills with attention to detail and patient condition changes Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, and excellent teamwork and communication skills Capability to multitask and perform well under stress Self-motivated and accountable with a strong desire for excellence Facility and Unit Highlights:The hospital is a 328-bed, Level II Trauma Center with certifications as a Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. The 4 South unit is recognized for high employee engagement, quality care measures, and a highly experienced nursing staff. The unit is equipped with advanced technology including iMobile devices and an advanced call light system, supporting efficient communication and patient care.
