Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical emergency care in a fast-paced hospital setting, delivering direct patient care to all age groups from initial assessment through implementation and evaluation. Responsibilities include coordinating with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient comfort and care quality. Function according to nursing standards, Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and facility policies while demonstrating strong clinical expertise and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer treatments, medications, and interventions safely and accurately Collaborate effectively with medical teams and support services Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards Utilize EPIC electronic medical records proficiently Adhere to facility dress code: black scrubs required Qualifications & Experience: Current RN licensure or Missouri temporary work permit Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Department nursing Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS; PALS or ENPC for pediatric patients Graduate from an accredited nursing program Strong human relations and communication skills Willingness to float within the department as needed Schedule & Location: Contract position based in Ballwin, MO area Weekly guaranteed hours: 36, including weekend shifts as required Flu vaccination required November 1April 1 (exemptions client-approved) The role demands physical stamina, including standing/walking most of the shift and the ability to lift or push patients up to 50 lbs. You will work primarily in a clean, air-conditioned environment supporting urgent care delivery.
