This contract position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient assessments, coordinate care with ancillary departments, and ensure exceptional patient comfort within the Emergency Department. Responsibilities: Perform direct patient care across all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Uphold nursing practice standards in accordance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational guidelines. Demonstrate clinical expertise in emergency care and maintain compliance with required certifications. Adapt to float as needed within the unit. Qualifications: Current RN licensure or temporary work permit in Missouri. Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC. Graduate from a state-approved nursing program. Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records system. Proven communication skills and clinical competence. Ability to stand and walk extensively; capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Schedule & Additional Information: Weekly guaranteed hours: 36. Weekend hours required as per facility needs. Black scrubs required. Flu vaccination mandatory from November through April with client-approved exemptions.
