Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide critical care on a Stepdown ICU at an acute care hospital located in Cayce, SC. This contract role involves working night shifts, with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The position requires the ability to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs, including coverage on like units or sister facilities. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality patient care in the Stepdown ICU, managing a patient ratio of 1:4 Utilize expertise in cardiac telemetry and tele monitoring to assess and respond to patient needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans Accurately document patient information using Epic electronic health record system Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety standards and infection control Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current SC nursing license or Compact license prior to starting Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in critical care; 2 years preferred BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; ACLS and CPI preferred Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care Previous experience in a community hospital setting and charge nurse role preferred Epic system proficiency is mandatory Location Insights: Cayce, SC, offers a welcoming community and convenient access to cultural attractions and outdoor activities.
